  • Developing detailed project drawings and technical specifications
  • Coordinate with equipment manufacturers to select the most technically acceptable design solutions.
  • Develop engineering work products including Piping and Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), Mechanical arrangement drawings, and Equipment, Piping, and Valve specifications.
  • Material selection and sizing of piping systems and equipment
  • Follow company and industry design practices in development of designs.
  • Perform Mechanical System design for water/wastewater projects.
  • Review manufacturer's or contractor's submittals, data, reports, etc., for conformance with B&V criteria.
  • Perform engineering calculations to develop equipment and system performance parameters for the purpose of sizing equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with various design engineering execution teams across the US and abroad

  • Hydraulic principles related to water/wastewater facility design
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
  • Holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries, and supports where necessary.
  • Equipment and systems used in water and wastewater treatment facilities including:
  • This position would require working in a typical office environment. The position may entail prolonged periods of sitting and computer use, and the professional would ideally be able to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday. The position may also be require physical tasks during site visits, including crouching, grasping, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
  • Pumping systems, blowers, aeration control valves, compressed air systems for pneumatic actuators, large bubble mixing, anaerobic digestion, heating water boilers, heat exchangers, and steel piping systems.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing or equivalent experience in engineering work.
