About the Role
The Mechanical Project Manager will supervise, direct, and coordinate all mechanical construction activities from conceptual design through completion. This position works closely with mechanical trades superintendents, subcontractors, and members of the RQ team to deliver quality work that meets government specifications, budget, and schedule while supporting RQ’s mission, vision, and values. • Supervise and coordinate all mechanical construction activities from concept to completion • Collaborate with mechanical trades superintendents, subcontractors, and RQ team members • Manage projects valued at $5 million or more in commercial/government settings, preferably healthcare facilities • Provide proof of U.S. work authorization and pass drug and Department of Defense background checks

What You Bring
Applicants must be willing to relocate to Guantanamo Bay, possess a valid passport, and undergo an in‑depth background screening. All candidates must provide proof of identity and U.S. work authorization at hire and pass drug screening as well as a Department of Defense background check for access to the military base. A four‑year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, though a high school diploma or GED is the minimum requirement. Relevant coursework in project management, construction management, mechanical trade schools, BIM, or CADD is also desirable. Candidates should have five or more years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager managing projects of at least $5 million in commercial or government settings. Experience in government, military, large commercial, or design‑build construction, especially in medical centers or dental facilities, is highly valued. Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera P6, and BIM software is preferred, with training available if needed. • Minimum education: high school diploma/GED; preferred 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management • At least five years experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on large‑scale projects • Experience in government, military, or design‑build construction is preferred • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, Primavera P6; BIM/CADD knowledge preferred • Must relocate to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; possess a valid passport and pass extensive background screening
