About the Role
The Leasing Consultant role focuses on all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for a property. Responsibilities include showing units, qualifying prospects, completing lease paperwork, handling resident requests, and supporting retention initiatives while meeting leasing goals and adhering to Fair Housing and OSHA standards. • Show and lease units, qualify prospects, conduct tours, and finalize lease agreements. • Generate new leads, schedule appointments, maintain model units, and follow up with prospects within 24 hours. • Complete all leasing paperwork and assist with lease audits, unit walk‑throughs, and turnover processes. • Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, utilizing sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks, address resident complaints, and ensure resident satisfaction. • Assist in developing and executing resident retention programs such as events, promotions, and newsletters. • Support annual marketing plan implementation and conduct weekly market surveys to stay informed on competition and market conditions. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service‑request response times, and enforce community policies.

What You Bring
• Meet basic education requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent and possess basic computer skills. • Understand Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. • Physical duties include regular movement around the property, climbing ladders or stairs, lifting/moving up to 25 lb, standing or sitting for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions and confined spaces; ability to work overtime, weekends, and nights as needed.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $16 to $18 per hour and includes a comprehensive total‑rewards package such as medical, dental, vision, life, accidental and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer match, commission and performance bonuses, paid sick days and company holidays.
