About the Role

• Verify proper operation of building controls. • Identify and repair control system failures. • Complete daily reports for customers and management. • Document field changes and report problems immediately. • Work individually or as a team to complete projects, including after‑hours or weekend work as needed. • Travel to sites and branches when required. • Follow all Powers and customer safety standards.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Building Automation – HVAC Controls Specialist to handle point‑to‑point checkout, automatic operation, and programming of temperature control systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities; the role is primarily field‑based with occasional travel to area branches. • Utilize experience with building control systems (e.g., Siemens Desigo, Talon, Delta, KMC, JCI, Distech, Honeywell). • Associate degree or technical training (or equivalent). • Minimum 2 years of BAS experience. • Strong understanding of control systems and HVAC operation in commercial buildings. • Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings. • Excellent leadership, written and oral communication skills. • Self‑sufficient, self‑motivated, and professional demeanor. • Ability to work in various site conditions and lift/move equipment up to 40 lb unassisted. • Knowledge of electrical circuitry and HVAC troubleshooting. • Experience installing or servicing HVAC or electronically controlled equipment. • Basic computer networking understanding. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Safety‑sensitive position; must pass background check and drug screening.
