About the Role

In this role you will directly lead production employees, providing training, performance reviews, education, and mentorship. You will oversee daily production activities to meet commitments and drive continuous improvement, using process‑center communication boards to monitor performance. Acting as a change agent, you will eliminate waste by applying Lean methodology and ensure a clean, safe work environment in line with nVent’s safety programs. You will be responsible for reviewing and submitting weekly payroll hours, handling any exception hours, and supporting the development and implementation of new processes and products. Additionally, you will develop key improvement projects and fulfill related duties as needed. • Lead and mentor production staff, including training and performance reviews. • Oversee daily production to meet commitments and drive continuous improvement. • Monitor performance via process‑center communication boards. • Implement Lean methodology to eliminate waste and improve operations. • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support safety programs. • Review and submit weekly payroll hours, addressing exceptions. • Support development and rollout of new processes and products. • Manage key improvement projects from conception to execution.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have at least five years of manufacturing experience, preferably with leadership exposure, four years of managerial experience, and two or more years applying Lean manufacturing principles. Strong ability to articulate and apply Lean concepts is essential. • Possess 5+ years manufacturing experience, with leadership exposure. • Have 4 years of managerial experience and 2+ years Lean manufacturing expertise. • Utilize strong communication skills to articulate Lean concepts.
