About the Role
The Plant Supervisor – Concrete (Weeford) role, offering a salary of £31,000, is responsible for producing concrete safely and efficiently in a clean, well‑maintained environment while delivering high levels of customer service. The supervisor also operates the batching plant and FEL to company standards and ensures the site presentation meets company guidelines. Key responsibilities include coordinating with the Order Office, plant staff and customers to meet production requirements, accurately batching concrete/mortar, and maintaining sufficient approved material stocks. The role also covers routine plant maintenance, housekeeping, and compliance with waste disposal, water discharge and dust emission procedures. The supervisor must adhere to Group and Regional administrative instructions, including the Restrictive Trade Practices Act, and keep skills up to date through training. Continuous improvement is encouraged by reviewing work methods and equipment utilisation, and the employee may be asked to perform additional duties as directed by management. • Coordinate with Order Office, plant staff and customers to meet concrete/mortar specifications and output targets • Accurately batch concrete/mortar following procedures and ensure adequate approved material stocks • Operate and maintain the batching plant and FEL while maintaining site presentation standards • Perform routine plant maintenance, housekeeping and ensure compliance with waste, water and dust regulations • Follow Group and Regional administrative instructions, including Restrictive Trade Practices Act compliance • Review work methods and equipment utilisation to drive continuous improvement
