About the Role

The Senior Project Architect will independently lead multidisciplinary teams, conduct client and agency meetings, perform layout and detailing, manage design documentation, review for code compliance, and ensure quality through QA/QC and cross‑disciplinary reviews. Additional responsibilities include writing specifications, coordinating RFIs and change orders, updating project documents, providing construction observation, and facilitating on‑site work sessions with stakeholders. • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across all project phases. • Conduct client, owner, and agency meetings to ensure code compliance. • Produce architectural layouts, detailing, and construction documents. • Apply technical design concepts, digital tools, and workflow for data centers. • Perform QA/QC and cross‑disciplinary technical reviews. • Write and edit architectural specifications and manage RFIs, addenda, and change orders. • Update project documents with approved changes and provide construction observation. • Facilitate on‑site work sessions with client representatives and project managers.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include data‑center design experience, BlueBeam graphic skills, LEED accreditation, local residency, and U.S. citizenship; required qualifications are a B.A. in Architecture, at least ten years’ experience, registration, proficiency in Revit, strong communication, analytical, and code knowledge, and a commitment to the employee‑owned culture. • Require a Bachelor’s in Architecture, at least 10 years of experience, and licensure. • Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office, and graphic presentation tools (BlueBeam). • Demonstrated knowledge of codes, sustainable design (LEED), and strong communication skills. • Must be a U.S. citizen and committed to HDR’s inclusive, employee‑owned culture.
