About the Role
The General Labourer supports Production, Maintenance, and Shipping teams by performing daily equipment inspections, maintaining a clean and organized facility, operating forklifts and overhead cranes, and assisting with joist and deck production. The role emphasizes strict adherence to safety protocols and a proactive attitude toward learning and teamwork. • Follow all company safety rules and safe operating procedures. • Perform daily inspections on equipment. • Keep the facility neat and organized, including emptying garbage and recycling. • Operate forklifts according to safe practice procedures. • Use overhead crane and no‑touch tools for assigned tasks. • Assist in joist and deck production and other supervisor‑assigned duties. • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, general knowledge of equipment operation, and strong mechanical aptitude. Prior experience operating machinery or working in the steel industry is considered an asset. • Possess general equipment‑operation knowledge and mechanical aptitude. • Hold a High School Diploma; machine operating or steel‑industry experience is a plus.
