About the Role

• Deliver high‑quality noise assessments, modeling, and mitigation strategies for complex projects. • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in noise impact analysis for Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements. • Represent clients confidently in public meetings, agency consultations, and as an expert witness. • Mentor junior staff and contribute to ERM’s internal acoustic community. • Prepare scopes of work, schedules, and cost estimates for noise impact studies. • Conduct background noise surveys and modeling for airborne and underwater noise. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously within defined scope, budget, and schedule. • Perform agency consultations, site visits, and participation in public forums.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent) and 4+ years acoustical consulting experience. • Demonstrated expertise with CadnaA and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Experience providing expert witness testimony and writing detailed technical reports. • Preferred experience with data centers, renewable energy, power generation, natural gas projects, NEPA, and underwater noise assessments. • Commitment to safety and ability to adhere to ERM’s quality standards.

Benefits

The position offers an annual base salary of $90,000–$104,175 USD, with potential bonus eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, parental leave, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and retirement savings options such as 401(k) or RRSP/DPSP.
