About the Role
Managing to keep it Clean! If you enjoy supervising teams and delivering a great cleaning service in a retail environment, this role is for you. You will lead the team responsible for high‑quality cleaning at a Sainsbury’s store while also performing cleaning tasks yourself. You will support recruitment and training of your cleaning crew, plan rotas and work patterns, and ensure timesheets are completed accurately for correct pay. Flexibility with working times is required to meet business needs. Health and safety is the top priority, and you will monitor and manage it for yourself and all site personnel, with equipment and support provided. • Supervise and perform cleaning tasks in a Sainsbury’s store. • Recruit, train, and schedule the cleaning team, ensuring accurate timesheets. • Maintain health and safety standards for all on‑site personnel. • Manage stock, record time, and handle employee relations such as investigations and performance management. • Adapt working hours as needed to meet business demands.

Why Join Us – Keep it Clean! The In‑Store Cleaning Manager position is based in Dartford, offering a pay rate of £14.50 per hour with overtime to be confirmed at interview. The role is 30 hours per week across six days, Monday to Saturday from 05:00 to 10:00, with Sundays off.
