About the Role
The manager will organise onboarding and ongoing training for drivers operating various truck types across dispersed SEQ locations. Responsibilities include coordinating training resources, monitoring compliance with national and NHVR regulations, and maintaining accurate training documentation. The position also supports driver upskilling and contributes to continuous performance improvement. • Ensure new drivers complete national driver training program promptly • Assess onboarding training needs and create 10‑day training plans • Manage training process using driver trainer resources efficiently • Facilitate driver upskilling across vehicle types • Oversee overdue e‑learning and maintain up‑to‑date training records • Drive continuous improvement in driver performance and safety • Enforce fair investigation of fatigue regulation breaches • Monitor NHVR legislation compliance and CAMS compliance for LODs and relief drivers • Handle LOD relief driver and absence requests • Support truck audits and produce timely management reports • Assist rollout of ad‑hoc training programs as directed • Coordinate large workforce effectively • Deliver clear presentations and training sessions
