What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced Planning and Scheduling Manager for its Power Delivery Group. The role requires interacting with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. The manager will handle non‑routine planning and scheduling assignments on highly complex projects and lead a team to implement scheduling strategy. Job postings are typically open a minimum of five days and an average of 44 days. • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field • Minimum eight years of construction experience or equivalent combination of training and experience • Advanced knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and Mortenson software • Thorough knowledge of standard construction practices, project sequencing, and installation methods • Demonstrated creativity and judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems on complex projects • Strong plan and specification reading, review, and interpretation skills to identify concerns • Knowledge of project management, buyout, and contracts • Working knowledge of 4D visual planning methodologies • Strong organization and delegation skills with ability to manage others’ work • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experience and achieve superior service rankings • Basic understanding of project estimates to aid schedule development, cost loading, and resource loading • Ability to interpret and implement customer scheduling specifications and contract requirements • Quickly understand complex projects at proposal stage and develop robust schedule strategies • Work effectively in a cross‑functional, collaborative, team‑based environment • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Active listening and openness to diverse input and feedback • Knowledge of EEO, inclusive behaviors, and affirmative action plans • Excellent leadership and rapport‑building skills with direct reports, team members, and customers • Ability to travel as required based on operating group

Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $116,900 – $175,400, with higher ranges for specific locations such as Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and Washington, D.C. Base salary is positioned within the range based on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
