About the Role

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating the field service schedule to match mobilization and demobilization dates, coordinating manpower allocation for active and upcoming projects, and collaborating with project managers and other departments to meet site requirements. The coordinator identifies internal and external resource gaps, works with regional and European field service teams or subcontractors, and ensures visas, site access, safety training, and compliance are completed before mobilization. The role also supports daily operations by assisting field service engineers, onboarding new hires, and acting as deputy to the Field Service Manager during absences. Weekly tracking, monitoring, and reporting of project status, utilization, and manpower forecasts are required, along with collaboration with HSE and compliance teams to maintain safety standards and personnel qualifications. • Maintain and update the field service schedule, aligning mobilization and demobilization dates with project timelines. • Coordinate manpower allocation for active and upcoming projects to ensure optimal utilization. • Collaborate with project managers, sales, logistics, and engineering to confirm site requirements and resource requests. • Identify internal and external resource gaps and engage regional teams or subcontractors as needed. • Ensure visas, site access, safety trainings, and compliance requirements are fulfilled before mobilization. • Support daily field service operations, new‑hire onboarding, and act as deputy for the Field Service Manager. • Track, monitor, and report project status, utilization, and manpower forecasts on a weekly basis. • Work with HSE and compliance teams to uphold corporate safety standards and personnel qualifications. • Forecast manpower demand for outages and inspections and maintain coordination across departments. • Resolve logistical or administrative issues for field service engineers during execution. • Maintain internal records and documentation in systems such as Workday and SharePoint. • Promote Baker Hughes/BRUSH values, professionalism, and customer focus in all interactions. • Participate in company‑sponsored health & welfare plans and the Thrift Plan (401k) with potential bonus compensation.

What You Bring

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and 3–5 years of experience in field service coordination, scheduling, or manpower planning. Candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office, have experience with ERP systems such as Workday, Oracle, or SAP, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and be fluent in English (Portuguese or Spanish a plus). Ideal qualities are strong leadership, teamwork, self‑driven problem‑solving, versatility, tenacity, and a people‑oriented mindset. The Americas team is expanding with hubs in Houston and Brazil to support growing demand for field service engineers.
