About the Role
The role focuses on site inspection and quality assurance, requiring thorough review of contract documents and active monitoring of contractor performance. The incumbent will maintain daily resource records, oversee supervision tasks, and ensure health and safety compliance throughout construction activities. • Read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and health & safety measures, including updates. • Ensure contractors comply with contract standards via observation, measurement, testing, and QA tracking. • Maintain daily records of contractor manpower and equipment resources. • Conduct site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer. • Document contractor personnel, equipment, activities, locations, reasons, and methods in assigned areas. • Report material deliveries and implement site instructions, applying all quality control procedures. • Follow up on and execute site instructions from leadership. • Prepare site measurements and surveying checks as required. • Inspect to verify conformance with quality, performance, and code requirements. • Monitor construction health and safety, reporting any violations.
