About the Role
Journeymen electricians will prepare sketches or follow diagrams to locate wiring and equipment, ensuring concealed wiring is installed before walls, ceilings, and flooring are completed. They will plan and execute new or modified installations to minimize material waste, provide future maintenance access, and comply with safety and local electrical codes. Duties include installing control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels, busbars, feeders, power systems, and switchgear, as well as repairing faulty equipment, working from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs, and advising management on hazardous equipment operation. • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to locate wiring and equipment before wall, ceiling, and flooring completion. • Plan and execute new or modified electrical installations to reduce material waste and ensure future maintenance access, adhering to safety and local codes. • Install control and distribution equipment such as switches, relays, circuit‑breaker panels, busbars, feeders, power systems, and switchgear. • Repair faulty electrical equipment or systems. • Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs. • Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a current state‑issued Journeyman Electrician license, possess a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle record check, and be able to meet DOT, drug screening, and background requirements. The role demands strong multitasking, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, positive customer service, and the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lb loads. Experience in lighting is a plus. The position requires prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and ladder work, with the ability to lift, carry, bend, push, and pull up to 50 lb.
