About the Role

The Maintenance Technician at Granite Point is responsible for delivering quality move‑ins, resident satisfaction, and timely service, representing Cushman & Wakefield professionally. The role includes preparing make‑ready apartments, responding to resident requests, performing routine maintenance (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, snow removal), and maintaining common‑area amenities such as grounds, pools, hot tubs, and dog parks. • Prepare make‑ready apartments (painting, carpet repair, cleaning, general repairs). • Respond quickly to resident maintenance requests with professionalism. • Perform routine maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and snow removal. • Keep grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities clean and operational. • Participate in on‑call rotations for after‑hour emergencies. • Report issues in vacant units, model homes, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. • Follow state, local, and federal fair‑housing laws. • Attend required training and maintain company uniform standards. • Read and interpret maintenance manuals, safety rules, and policy documents. • Apply basic math and problem‑solving skills to maintenance tasks and reporting. • Write routine maintenance reports and correspondence. • Maintain punctual on‑site attendance and adhere to safety procedures.

What You Bring

The technician must hold a valid driver’s license, EPA 608 Type II certification (or local equivalent), understand fair‑housing laws, read manuals, perform basic math, write reports, and follow safety procedures. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or GED (or trade/technical education) and at least one year of related experience; the position involves regular travel between properties, occasional on‑call hours, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 lb and standing for extended periods. • Hold a valid driver’s license and EPA 608 Type II (or local) certification. • Possess a high school diploma/GED or trade/technical education and at least 1 year related experience. • Travel between properties (up to 10 %) and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 100 lb.
