About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic you will maintain and repair a fleet that serves more than 20 million customers, working with modern tools on both diesel and CNG trucks while delivering high‑quality service to your community. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls • Conduct safety checks on all vehicles • Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times • Assist senior mechanics on project work • Review and address items from Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports • Maintain a clean, safe work area complying with OSHA and corporate standards

What You Bring
The role requires at least two years of relevant experience, a clean‑record driver’s license, legal eligibility to work in the United States, and the ability to meet the physical demands of a shop environment. We value team players who can also work independently, enjoy a variety of daily challenges, and approach problems with determination and strong problem‑solving skills. The work environment involves frequent lifting, standing, and exposure to typical shop hazards such as noise, chemicals and weather conditions, with accommodations available for qualified individuals.
