About the Role
What You’ll Do: This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including undertaking electrical maintenance, repair and inspection tasks to ensure safe and compliant operation of electrical systems and equipment across the base. You will deliver high‑quality trade services while maintaining WHS and environmental compliance, collaborate with other trades and service providers to support PAS delivery, provide responsive professional services to internal and external stakeholders, focus on improving the longevity of fixed plant and equipment, and maintain clear, professional communication regarding works and outcomes. • Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and inspection to ensure safe, compliant operation of base electrical systems. • Deliver high‑quality trade services while maintaining WHS and environmental compliance. • Collaborate with other trades and service providers to support PAS delivery. • Provide responsive, professional trade services to internal and external stakeholders. • Improve longevity of fixed plant and equipment.

What You Bring
Starting in February 2026, we welcome candidates from all backgrounds, whether they have Defence experience, industry knowledge, or transferable skills from other sectors. What You’ll Bring: You must hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology and an unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence. Desirable qualifications include an Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate and a White Card, along with a current open driver’s licence, post‑trade experience in facilities or electrical maintenance, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship is mandatory). A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes are essential. • Communicate clearly and professionally about work and outcomes. • Hold Certificate III in Electrotechnology and an unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence. • Possess Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate and White Card (desirable). • Maintain a current open driver’s licence. • Have post‑trade experience in facilities or electrical maintenance, including inspection, repair and preventative maintenance. • Able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Australian citizenship required). • Demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
