About the Role

The engineer will oversee UPS systems, performing inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and coordinating repairs with vendors while keeping accurate documentation. They will also manage floor maintenance programs, conduct routine upkeep of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, and handle inventory of supplies and equipment. Additionally, they will support daily facility operations, respond to service requests and emergencies, assist with space planning and minor renovations, ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes, and participate in facility audits and assessments. • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot UPS systems throughout the facility • Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on UPS equipment • Coordinate with vendors for UPS system repairs and upgrades • Maintain accurate documentation of UPS performance and maintenance activities • Respond to power‑related emergencies and system alarms • Execute comprehensive floor maintenance programs including cleaning, waxing, and restoration • Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems • Perform regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance needs • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work • Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment • Support daily facility operations to ensure an optimal workplace environment • Respond promptly to facility‑related service requests and emergencies • Assist with space planning and minor renovation projects • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes • Participate in facility audits and assessments

What You Bring

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer with technology expertise to support our corporate office facility operations. This role blends technical facilities management with hands‑on maintenance, focusing on UPS systems management and comprehensive floor maintenance operations. Required qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent, 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in corporate or commercial environments, proven UPS systems experience, strong knowledge of floor maintenance techniques, basic electrical and mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and building automation. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills, plus the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, are also essential. Preferred qualifications are technical certifications, CMMS experience, knowledge of building codes, and prior commercial real‑estate or corporate facilities experience. • Associate degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field, or equivalent experience • 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in corporate or commercial environments • Proven experience with UPS systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting • Strong knowledge of floor maintenance techniques, equipment, and materials • Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude; familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and building automation • Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Relevant technical certifications (electrical, HVAC, or facilities management) preferred • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred • Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations preferred • Previous experience in commercial real estate or corporate facilities preferred
