About the Role

The Survey Assistant is responsible for understanding standard survey practices, completing daily tasks, and maintaining survey equipment while keeping construction documents current. • Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. • Operate GPS, total station, level, and other survey equipment. • Perform basic survey calculations to support the Party Chief. • Update and maintain construction documentation. • Ensure survey equipment remains in proper working order. • Keep the survey truck fully stocked with necessary materials. • Conduct construction stakeout and manage stakeout data. • Modify the Revit model as needed. • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend during tasks. • Use telephone, computer, and email on a limited basis for communication. • Follow all safety standards and procedures. • Occasionally climb stairs or ladders as needed. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, or carry objects. • Interact with coworkers and external parties regularly during shifts. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances throughout the work shift. • Participate in employee stock ownership and 401(k) plans. • Utilize flexible time off and flexible spending accounts. • Access employee assistance and workplace wellness programs. • Contribute to the Sundt Foundation charitable program.

What You Bring
