About the Role
As a Leasing Consultant you will play an important role with the onsite management team, delivering a friendly smile, a welcoming handshake, and genuine interest to every visitor. Your positive influence creates lasting impressions for prospects and residents while you manage your own success by meeting leasing goals such as occupancy and rent growth. Key duties include touring prospects, answering questions about amenities and the community, highlighting the lifestyle benefits of an apartment home, and qualifying prospects by collecting information and initiating background checks. You will also ensure apartments are ready for move‑in, handle rental paperwork, and provide unmatched service to exceed resident expectations and improve retention. • Tour prospective renters and highlight community amenities and lifestyle. • Qualify prospects and initiate background checks. • Prepare apartments for move‑in and coordinate rental paperwork. • Provide exceptional service to retain existing residents. • Maintain organized office operations and meet documentation deadlines. • Adhere to company policies, act professionally, and collaborate as a team player.

What You Bring
Successful consultants demonstrate effective communication, strong customer service, basic Windows computer skills, and a courteous, professional attitude. Being well‑organized, meeting deadlines, following company policies, and working collaboratively as a team player are essential competencies. A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent technical/vocational education is required, along with at least one year of related leasing experience. The role operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, and may require travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing stairs, and remaining stationary for most of the shift, with up to 5% travel time. • Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and basic Windows computer skills. • Meet minimum education requirements (High School diploma/GED) and have at least 1 year of related experience. • Travel up to 5% between properties and handle physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
