About the Role
In this role you will lead a multidisciplinary Transport Planning, Pavements & Aviation team, driving projects from concept through delivery. You’ll build trusted partnerships with government agencies, airport authorities and private clients, apply planning expertise to network modelling and corridor planning, and oversee project governance, risk and commercial performance. You will also champion digital tools and innovative methods to future‑proof transport networks. Your strategic thinking will influence major infrastructure programs, creating smarter and safer road‑and‑air networks. What You Bring
The senior leadership role seeks an experienced Transport Planner, Pavement Engineer or Aviation specialist to shape multimodal movement across NSW and beyond. The position joins the transport leadership team to define the future of transport and infrastructure outcomes. The ideal candidate blends aviation or transport planning experience with proven multimodal infrastructure leadership and a passion for impactful transport outcomes. Highly desired qualifications include extensive aviation and transport planning experience in consulting or infrastructure settings, strong knowledge of aviation pavements and airside/landside infrastructure, and a track record of leading complex planning projects from strategic studies to delivery support. Candidates should have acted as trusted advisors to airport operators and government agencies, contributed to major pursuits or bids, possess strong commercial acumen, and demonstrate collaborative leadership in building high‑performing teams. • Extensive aviation and transport planning experience in consulting or infrastructure environments. • Strong knowledge of aviation pavements, airside and landside infrastructure, and asset planning. • Proven leadership of complex planning and infrastructure projects from strategy to delivery. • Trusted advisor experience with airport operators, government agencies and transport authorities. • Experience leading major pursuits, bids and growth initiatives in aviation or pavement infrastructure. • Strong commercial acumen with risk, budget and governance management on large programs. • Collaborative leadership style with a record of building high‑performing teams.
