About the Role
The team collects data from air, ground, and subsurface to provide precision data interpretation and to accelerate success, positioning Colliers as an industry leader for tomorrow. • Plan and execute basic field surveys within scope, budget, and standards. • Supervise and direct survey crew members. • Coordinate with site supervisors and client representatives. • Record detailed field notes and daily activity reports promptly. • Perform in‑field calculations for stakeout and land surveys with office support. • Identify issues and develop solutions on project sites. • Operate and maintain the survey vehicle per company manual. • Transport, set up, and operate surveying instruments and equipment. • Follow corporate and client health and safety programs and SOPs. • Review and instruct crew on safety checklists, hazards, and PPE. • Use and train others on Total Stations, Data Collectors, GNSS, and other survey tools. • Transfer field data, photos, and forms to the office daily.

What You Bring
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an energetic, adaptable, solution‑oriented Junior Crew Chief in Hamilton, OH. The role requires following instructions while also thinking independently. Join our Survey/Geospatial team delivering a full range of survey and geospatial data and mapping services that enable faster, safer, and more accurate data collection. • High School/GED required; Associate degree in related field preferred. • Minimum 3 years related experience, including 2 years as instrument operator. • Valid driver’s license; CST Level II and FAA 107 Drone License preferred. • Intermediate knowledge of survey concepts, mathematics, and applicable standards. • Strong relationship‑building and communication skills. • Ability to lead, plan, and manage tasks with guidance from technical project management. • Proficient in English reading, writing, and verbal communication. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and participate in random testing.
