About the Role
The position is responsible for overseeing cargo and container operations within a 50‑acre yard, ensuring high productivity, optimal cost management, and strict adherence to quality, health, safety, environment, and supply chain security standards. It also involves coordinating with contractors, customers, internal teams, terminals, and engineering to deliver timely, best‑in‑class service while maintaining yard cleanliness and accurate inventory. • Oversee cargo and container operations across a 50‑acre yard. • Optimize cost and resources for MICT CFS. • Coordinate with contractors, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery. • Enhance customer satisfaction by providing best‑in‑class service. • Ensure compliance with MICT’s quality, health, safety, environment, and supply chain security systems. • Plan yard activities to achieve highest productivity with efficient cost management. • Maintain proper cleanliness and housekeeping in the yard. • Perform monthly cargo inventory and follow up on longstanding cargo with customers. • Plan deployment of container and cargo handling equipment in the yard. • Manage equipment deployment and utilization. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely services. • Work with the terminal on PEP/ITUP/cargo‑related issues. • Collaborate with the engineering team for equipment maintenance.
