About the Role

Reporting to the Product Specialist Supervisor, the role works across the manufacturing plant to support Lean initiatives aimed at cost savings, material stocking levels, process flow, and standard work, helping to optimize efficiency. The incumbent will assist in projects to improve material flow, participate in Kaizens, create standard work procedures, and design or procure jigs and equipment to aid production. Responsibilities also include writing, reviewing, and revising operation sheets, preparing time and motion studies, and coordinating design changes with engineering personnel. • Support Lean initiatives to reduce costs and improve material stocking, process flow, and standard work. • Assist in projects that enhance material flow across the plant. • Participate in Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement. • Develop and implement standard work procedures. • Design or procure jigs and equipment to improve production efficiency. • Write, review, and update operation sheets. • Conduct and direct time‑motion studies. • Collaborate with engineering on design changes. • Provide leadership experience through campus or community involvement.

What You Bring

Candidates must be enrolled in or returning to a college or university program in engineering, business, or a computer‑related field and be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship. Required skills include intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), strong customer‑service focus, confidentiality, professionalism, time‑management, safety awareness, and demonstrated leadership experience on campus or in the community.
