Job Highlights
About the Role
The role involves safely operating a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Drivers follow assigned routes and complete required documentation at the end of each day. Drivers conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and report any unsafe situations immediately. They dump containers, clean the site, position containers correctly, and submit tickets for excess yardage. Communication with Dispatch and the Operations Manager is required for customer requests, route issues, incidents, or accidents. Drivers also collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and may assist other drivers as directed. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck safely on assigned transfer routes, complying with OSHA, DOT and company standards. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using DVIR and report any issues promptly. • Dump containers, clean customer sites, position containers correctly, and complete customer tickets as needed. • Communicate customer requests, incidents, and route issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. • Maintain route efficiency and assist other drivers as directed by Operations Manager.

What You Bring
A valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) and a minimum age of 18 are required. Applicants must pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check and have an acceptable driving record. No prior experience or formal education is required. The position may require travel by air or access to federal property, so candidates must have a REAL ID or an acceptable TSA‑approved alternative. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B), be at least 18 years old, and pass DOT drug screen, physical and background check. • Adhere to an acceptable driving record and obtain a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative if required.
