In this position, the operator supports overall production by overseeing equipment operation, assisting higher‑level staff, training lower‑level operators, handling material movement, updating shop‑floor systems, and collaborating with technicians on equipment issues while upholding quality standards. • Monitor and operate processing equipment with minimal supervision. • Assist higher‑level operators and train lower‑level operators. • Use measuring equipment to ensure quality specifications are met. • Operate material handling and processing equipment for production and raw material replenishment. • Update CIP boards in the shop floor management system as needed. • Spot equipment malfunctions, assist with repairs, and perform basic preventative maintenance. • Communicate with process and tooling technicians for equipment issues and root‑cause analysis. • Visually check workstations for low supplies and pull from stock. • Transport materials to and from workstations using appropriate handling equipment. • Notify supervisor or material handler when supplies reach reorder levels. • Identify raw material types and part numbers; review bill of materials and report shortages. • Test and inspect produced products against quality specifications. • Report non‑conforming products to supervision or quality personnel. • Perform non‑conforming product procedures, isolate or rework items. • Enter accurate data into the quality control system. • Identify raw materials that fail quality requirements. • Participate in 6S activities, workshops, meetings, and cross‑functional training.

What You Bring

A high school diploma or equivalent and 6‑12 months of related experience are required, with equivalent education‑experience combinations considered.

Benefits
The position offers an hourly base pay of $20–$22, dependent on education, experience, and market, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
