What You Bring
The company is seeking an Equipment Operator for its road construction crews based in Knoxville, TN. The role requires experience operating excavators, dozers, skid steers, and familiarity with dirt grading, excavation, site utilities, paving, and concrete work, with an uncompromising focus on safety and excellence. Successful candidates will perform daily equipment servicing, maintenance, and pre‑ and post‑inspection documentation while complying with OSHA, MSHA, and environmental regulations. Effective communication and the ability to work independently in challenging terrain are essential. Candidates must have 1–3 years of heavy‑equipment operation experience, be self‑motivated, willing to work overtime and in all weather conditions, and be able to provide valid I‑9 documentation and pass a drug screen. Teamwork and assisting supervisors or co‑workers as required are also expected. • Communicate effectively and work independently with minimal supervision. • Possess 1–3 years of heavy‑equipment experience (excavator/dozer/loader/skid steer).
