About the Role

Key responsibilities include performing calculations and analyses, providing design control, assisting with construction management tasks, and conducting investigations to gather data for stormwater studies. The engineer will also guide junior staff, collaborate with the Project Manager on coordination and invoicing, estimate project costs, monitor budgets, and provide responsive client service. • Perform stormwater calculations and analyses for assigned tasks. • Provide design control and develop design plans, specifications, and reports. • Assist with construction management and field coordination as needed. • Conduct investigations, gather data, and prepare supporting documentation. • Guide junior engineers, GIS analysts, and drafting personnel on projects. • Collaborate with Project Manager to coordinate information and assist with invoicing. • Estimate engineering project costs and monitor budgets to stay within limits. • Deliver responsive client service and support Project Manager at client meetings.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and possess an Engineering Intern certification, excellent written and oral communication skills, and at least two years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include CFM certification and proficiency with hydrologic and hydraulic software such as SWMM, CUHP, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and an Engineering Intern certification. • Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience with strong communication skills. • Preferred: CFM certification and experience with SWMM, CUHP, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
