About the Role

The BIM Designer will report to the Director of VDC/BIM Services and will support the development and coordination of BIM models for a diverse portfolio of construction projects. The role emphasizes accurate model creation, adherence to project standards, and collaboration with project teams to ensure constructability and timely delivery of design outputs. Key duties include developing and maintaining Revit models, setting up central files, sheets, views, legends, and schedules, as well as importing and managing families, filters, and linked coordination files. The designer will also prepare and issue drawings, revisions, and final record sets. Collaboration involves working closely with project teams to align BIM models with construction requirements, supporting clash detection and resolution in Navisworks, and coordinating equipment, conduit, cable tray, and electrical layouts in compliance with NEC standards. Prefabrication‑ready models and exported layout files will be provided for field use. The BIM Designer must apply Fisk’s BIM standards, templates, and file management protocols, audit project folders, maintain version control, and ensure models meet project specifications and industry constructability standards.
