Key responsibilities include manually collecting windblown paper around the landfill perimeter, operating a tractor‑mounted vacuum to gather loose debris, directing truck traffic during heavy summer periods, handling construction materials for site maintenance, and separating recyclable items like metal, white goods, lumber, and cardboard on the tipping floor. • Manually pick up windblown paper around the landfill perimeter. • Operate a tractor‑mounted mobile vacuum to collect loose paper and refuse. • Direct truck traffic at the landfill entrance during peak periods using verbal and hand signals. • Lift and transport construction materials for site maintenance using hand tools. • Separate metal, white goods, lumber, and cardboard on the tipping floor. • Maintain required licenses from local, state, federal, environmental, or health/safety agencies.
