About the Role
The Principal Software Engineer will join a federal solutions team that delivers cutting‑edge classified platforms for U.S. government missions. In this role, the engineer will help shape critical software solutions while collaborating with key technical leaders. • Develop robust software applications in a Secret environment. • Utilize containerization tools such as Docker or Podman. • Deploy and manage large‑scale Kubernetes clusters on‑premises or in AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Apply deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, networking, monitoring, logging, and storage. • Write and maintain Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, and Custom Resource Definitions. • Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab Runner and IaC with Terraform or Ansible. • Maintain an active Secret security clearance.

What You Bring
The position requires an active Secret security clearance and aligns with Parsons’ commitment to delivering, protecting, and sustaining the nation’s most critical assets across earth and cyberspace. • Program and script using Python, Go, Bash, Ansible, and Robot Framework. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience. • Possess CKA and/or CKAD certifications (desired). • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
