About the Role

Install and terminate conduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors and other control components, and fabricate control panels with rough and finish wiring. Perform interlocking wiring installation, wiring check‑outs, and ensure all work complies with NEC, NESC, NFPA and UFC standards. Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and devices, and provide material take‑offs for equipment requirements. Propose modifications to plans to improve operation and efficiency, test equipment performance, and maintain detailed maintenance reports. Monitor parts usage, assist in preventative and predictive maintenance scheduling, and follow Silent‑Aire safety program and Alberta OHS regulations. • Install and terminate conduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors, and control components. • Construct and fabricate control panels, perform rough and finish wiring, and install interlocking wiring. • Conduct wiring check‑outs and test equipment for proper performance. • Ensure all work complies with NEC, NESC, NFPA and UFC standards. • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and devices. • Generate material take‑offs and propose plan modifications to improve efficiency. • Maintain detailed maintenance reports, monitor parts usage, and assist with preventive maintenance scheduling. • Follow Silent‑Aire safety program and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations. • Provide reliable transportation to Nisku and work 12‑hour rotational shifts.

What You Bring

Must be a registered apprentice electrician in Alberta and enrolled in a recognized trade school, able to work under journeyman supervision, as part of a team, or independently in a busy environment. Experience with routine electrical maintenance is an asset, and strong interpersonal skills are required to work effectively in a diverse setting. Effective verbal and written communication, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and professional, diplomatic interaction with people are essential. • Hold a valid Alberta apprenticeship registration (AIT#) and be enrolled in a recognized trade school. • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
