About the Role

The Service Plumber diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs plumbing and hydronic systems, including piping, water heaters, boilers, and pumps, while performing scheduled maintenance and equipment start‑ups. The role also involves quality‑control inspections, technical diagnostics, and maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. The position requires coordination with Customer Services, timely service decisions, follow‑up on callbacks, inspection liaison, training of technicians, pricing assistance, and generating lead referrals for sales. • Diagnose and repair plumbing, hydronic piping, water heaters, boilers, and pumps. • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks and equipment start‑ups. • Conduct quality‑control inspections and technical troubleshooting. • Mentor and assist RK Mechanical Service technicians. • Coordinate daily with Customer Services and make timely service decisions. • Follow up on callbacks, ensure job completion, and manage inspection processes. • Assist with pricing alongside Account Managers or Service Writer. • Generate lead referrals for the Sales Department. • Guide field staff in completing specialized paperwork and forms. • Carry out owner training as required.
