About the Role

The Mechatronics & Robotics Technician supports the Operations Maintenance Team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems, and by installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment throughout the building. • Promote a safe work environment by following all safety procedures. • Perform preventive maintenance routines and document work accurately. • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on material handling equipment such as belts, motors, photo‑eyes, and relays. • Create, assign, and close work orders while tracking labor hours, parts used, and equipment maintenance. • Manage department inventory and ensure supplies are stocked. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Maintain positive working relationships across the operations facility. • Use a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). • Frequently crouch, bend, and reach to install or move equipment. • Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures. • Perform computer typing tasks 1–2 hours per day.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent. • Possess 2+ years repairing material handling or automated conveyor systems. • Have 2+ years experience in predictive and preventive maintenance. • Read blueprints and electrical schematics for at least 1 year. • Understand electrical and electronic principles (1+ year). • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Ability to work flexible schedules or shifts. • Associate’s degree or higher in mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Knowledge of MHE safety standards and OEM guidelines (preferred). • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance (preferred). • Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output functions (preferred). • Reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, use aerial lift, and lift up to 50 lb. • Wear required personal protective equipment such as hard hat, mask, shield, and safety shoes. • Travel 6–12 miles daily between departments, floors, and properties.
