About the Role
• Install, configure, and maintain security, fire, access control, and CCTV systems per industry standards. • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely solutions. • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and system testing. • Collaborate with clients to assess security needs and recommend improvements. • Train clients on proper use and maintenance of security systems. • Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends, product developments, and emerging technologies. • Work independently and in teams to meet project deadlines and deliver high‑quality service. • Support other contractors on site and debug installation issues during start‑up and commissioning. • Create timely software backups for projects and development. • Provide service support for existing installations, ensuring compliance with occupancy codes and efficient operation. • Complete timesheets, service work orders, and required paperwork accurately and promptly.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years installing security, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems. • 2+ years hands‑on networking experience with system configuration and troubleshooting. • 3+ years panel installation and wiring; 3+ years fire alarm service, installation, testing, or inspection. • 3+ years experience in system start‑up and programming. • Ability to operate basic computer functions and adapt to diverse weather conditions. • Preferred: technical degree in electrical/electronic studies; experience with Lenel, Bosch, Axis, Avigilon; NICET fire alarm certification; electronic security systems certification. • Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lb, carry ladders and equipment, stand/walk on construction sites, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, stoop, crawl, and maintain accurate color vision. • Must maintain satisfactory driving record per company vehicle policy.
