About the Role
• Serve as technical lead on bridge design projects, performing structural analysis, design, and planning. • Produce full sets of structural drawings and specifications independently for bridges, box culverts, and retaining walls. • Train and mentor Engineers‑In‑Training, overseeing quality control and project submittals. • Lead construction‑phase efforts and coordinate with clients, contractors, and design team members. • Identify new project opportunities through client networking.

What You Bring
Kimley-Horn's Palm Beach Gardens, Florida office is looking for a civil engineer with over eight years of experience to join its Bridge Structures team. This on-site role focuses on bridge and transportation structure design and is not remote. • Minimum 8 years of engineering design experience with a PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months). • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and structural analysis software such as STAAD, RAM, E‑Tabs, MathCAD, TEDDS, ADAPT PT. • Strong sense of urgency, detail‑orientation, and ability to multitask across multiple projects. • Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills with a focus on personal and staff development. • Positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic.
