About the Role
The Construction Laborer assists craft workers with physical labor on job sites, ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment while supporting overall project goals. The role encompasses a wide range of tasks such as leveling earth, mixing and finishing concrete, positioning mechanical components, applying protective coatings, spraying various materials, caulking, grinding and polishing surfaces, and performing hand‑tool operations like torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, and demolition. The laborer also provides general site assistance, maintains tools, and may need to travel to different locations on short notice. • Promote and follow company safety policies; complete required safety documentation. • Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery. • Level earth to fine‑grade specifications using shovels or hand tools. • Mix concrete or grout with a portable mixer and finish surfaces using float, trowel, or screed. • Position, join, align, and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical parts. • Apply paints, bituminous compounds, or other protective coatings to surfaces. • Spray water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco via hose for cleaning, coating, or sealing. • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with a caulking gun to seal crevices. • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel using abrasive tools or machines. • Perform hand‑tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, demolition, and jackhammering. • Provide general site assistance and maintain assigned tools. • Perform physical labor on construction sites and travel to various job sites as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and six to twelve months of construction experience, or an equivalent mix of training and work history. They should be able to follow safety protocols, read technical documents, perform basic arithmetic with units, understand force, pressure and torque, and follow precise instructions.
