About the Role

The Laborer performs manual labor tasks associated with many facets of the construction job site. They are responsible for producing high‑quality work safely and productively at all times while ensuring that all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available. The Laborer looks for opportunities to improve tasks, methods, and means, and is willing to learn from others. They must understand safety hazards and learn to safely operate work‑related tools and equipment. This role may be based in plant operations or a construction jobsite setting. • Perform general clean‑up • Dig footings using hand tools • Load and unload materials • Strip concrete forms • Operate power tools (vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, chipping guns) • Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, and remove rubble • Assist other craft workers as needed • Operate hand and power tools with proper training and authorization • Climb and work on steel/wood frameworks, ladders, stairs, and scaffolds • Work in confined spaces and on uneven, muddy, or soft surfaces • Work in adverse weather conditions and wear a respirator when required • Maintain focus amid distractions and varying work tempos

What You Bring
