About the Role

• Produce monthly results and financial planning for multiple Rolls‑Royce Canada segments. • Maintain General Ledger integrity by preparing journal entries and recording transactions. • Ensure finance staff compliance with IFRS and Rolls‑Royce policies. • Prepare accurate financial reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders. • Develop annual budget, five‑year forecast and in‑year revisions. • Lead annual audit preparation and act as primary contact for auditors. • Compile statutory annual financial statements for Rolls‑Royce Canada Ltd. • Manage financial master data in SAP, HFM and Oracle Hyperion Planning. • Coordinate with UK Treasury on currency‑hedging policy and provide US$ cash forecasts.

What You Bring

We are seeking a Chief Accountant for our Montreal facility, reporting to the Financial Controller. The role involves managing accounting activities and ensuring financial compliance for the Rolls‑Royce Canada Limited legal entity. Candidates must be organized, detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively, with a minimum of three days per week on‑site. Required qualifications include a CPA designation (or equivalent), 5‑8 years of financial accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, fluency in French and English, and Canadian citizenship or permanent residency. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong financial planning, forecasting and cost‑control skills, excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, HFM and Oracle Hyperion Planning, and proven leadership and interpersonal capabilities to drive cross‑functional collaboration.
