About the Role

• Perform daily quality control tasks for project delivery and execution. • Provide specialized technical expertise, including inspection, testing, training, statistical methods, audits, and problem‑solving tools. • Create inspection reports documenting work‑area conditions and ensure requirements are met. • Recommend corrective actions and apply quality system tools to verify contract standards. • Implement performance evaluation and prediction methods to improve safety, reliability, and maintainability. • Generate and communicate reports of inspection findings to operations and QC management. • Assist in documenting satisfactory completion of inspections, corrective actions, or tests. • Develop skills under supervision to assess conformance of production and operations to specifications.

What You Bring

The position requires outdoor site visits in varying weather conditions as well as remote work, with appropriate clothing and safety standards. Scheduling is part-time and based on production and customer needs, with attendance required at periodic company meetings and training sessions. The role is at-will employment, meaning either party may terminate the relationship at any time. • Minimum 2+ years experience in telecommunications or construction. • Understanding of drawings, permits, and specifications for fiber, cellular, or cable projects. • Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • High school diploma; technical school or community college courses preferred. • Authorized to work in the U.S., valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and local to Fremont. • Clean driving record and pass pre‑employment screening. • Willingness to train, adapt to industry trends, and pursue continuing education.

Compensation is production-pay based, with a minimum hourly rate of $15.50 or the California minimum wage, whichever is greater, plus overtime at 1.5 × the regular rate as mandated by California law.
