About the Role

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project cost budgets and baselines, monitoring actual costs, commitments, and forecasts against approved budgets, and preparing monthly cost reports, dashboards, and estimate‑at‑completion forecasts. The engineer reviews and validates contractor invoices, variations and cost‑related contract items, tracks change requests, and incorporates approved changes into budgets. They also support risk reviews by identifying cost impacts and trends and ensure compliance with internal cost control procedures and audit requirements. • Develop and maintain project cost budgets and baselines • Monitor actual costs, commitments, and forecasts versus approved budgets • Prepare monthly cost reports, dashboards, and EAC forecasts • Review and validate contractor invoices, variations, and cost‑related contract items • Track change requests and incorporate approved changes into budgets • Support risk reviews by identifying cost impacts and trends • Ensure compliance with internal cost control procedures and audit requirements • Develop cost‑model systems and forecast revenue and cost

What You Bring

Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, accounting or a related field and 10–15 years of experience in project cost control, preferably in oil & gas/EPC. Proficiency with cost management tools such as SAP, Oracle, EcoSys, or Excel is expected, and professional certifications like AACEI CCP or PMP are preferred. Key skills include strong analytical and numerical ability, excellent communication and reporting, attention to detail, and the ability to work in fast‑paced project environments. The candidate should be adept at developing cost‑model systems, forecasting revenue and cost, and have solid knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP systems, advanced Excel and MS Office, data analytics, Power BI reporting, and presentation skills. • Require 10–15 years of project cost control experience, preferably oil & gas/EPC • Proficient in SAP, Oracle, EcoSys, Excel, and other cost management tools • Preferred certifications: AACEI CCP, PMP • Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and reporting skills • Advanced knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP, Excel, Power BI, and data analytics • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in fast‑paced environments
