Parsons is seeking an experienced construction manager to join our multi‑disciplinary Rail and Transit division as a Construction Director. This role is Toronto‑based and will engage with the Client Director to review contractor work plans and provide proactive project leadership. Candidates must have at least 15 years of experience as a Construction Director in transit rail, with a proven record of leading large, multi‑disciplinary teams. A deep understanding of construction methodology, innovative delivery methods, contract law, and site logistics is required, along with strong oral, written and presentation skills. The individual should stay current with industry trends, be proficient with office software, and demonstrate decisive, results‑oriented leadership. A bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related field or equivalent experience is required. This position is part of Parsons’ Critical Infrastructure team, which has delivered essential projects for over 80 years, improving communities through economic growth, mobility, sustainability and resilience. • Minimum 15 years’ experience as a Construction Director in transit rail. • Proven ability to lead large, multi‑disciplinary teams on high‑value projects. • Deep knowledge of construction methodology, innovative delivery methods, and site logistics. • Strong understanding of construction contract law and multiple contract types. • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills. • Proficiency with office technology and software applications. • Decisive decision‑making and results‑oriented mindset.
