About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to load plastic pellets onto railcars using spreaders, following work instructions and training. The role involves operating yard equipment, managing railcar information, and ensuring safe and efficient loading processes while adhering to company policies and safety protocols. Employees are expected to participate in daily safety and quality talks, report incidents, maintain housekeeping, and cooperate with cross‑training as needed. • Load plastic pellets onto railcars using spreaders. • Maintain yard master knowledge. • Enter railcar information into the system accurately. • Dry, cap, and seal railcars before loading. • Perform duties safely, efficiently, and in compliance with policies. • Participate in daily safety and quality talks. • Report all incidents and near misses. • Perform daily housekeeping, including trash removal and cleaning. • Comply with cross‑training requirements. • Ensure product integrity by addressing shortages or equipment quality issues. • Follow emergency procedures and safety requirements. • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and be available for overtime or call‑outs.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills in English, basic math and Microsoft Outlook proficiency, and be able to work shift hours, weekends, and holidays. The job requires the ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as walking, stooping, and climbing ladders. Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, may involve overtime, and candidates must pass background and drug screening. • Stage railcars using Trackmobile between tracks. • Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. • Use basic math and Microsoft Outlook for job tasks. • Meet physical requirements: lift/carry up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, climb ladders, etc. • Subject to background check and drug screening.
