About the Role
The Project Engineer of Integrated Design & Construction Practices will support the Director in managing the business execution cadence for the engineering team, lead design efforts, and ensure effective coordination between design and project management. This role reviews project scope, validates quality standards and budgets, identifies risks, and communicates performance, risk, and opportunities to the Project Manager while tracking deliverables, labor resources, and overall performance. • Support Director of Integrated Design & Construction Projects in business execution cadence. • Lead design efforts and coordinate between design and project management teams. • Review project scope and requirements to align solutions with technical and financial constraints. • Validate quality standards, design budgets, and performance expectations. • Identify design risks, recommend mitigations, and communicate them to the Project Manager. • Provide oversight to ensure design services meet financial, schedule, and deliverable targets. • Assist Engineering Team proposals with pricing, assumptions, and risk analysis. • Track project performance using Parsons systems for deliverables, labor, and resources. • Recommend process simplifications to increase agility and efficiency. • Anticipate future needs and develop proactive solutions. • Participate in special projects and support staff mobilization/demobilization planning.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (a master’s in management is a plus) and possess broad experience in design and project management, especially within Federal Government contracting. Preferred credentials include a Registered Engineer or Architect license and PMP or Parsons Certified Project Manager certification. Strong skills in process improvement, risk management, cost estimating, scheduling, multi‑disciplinary team leadership, and clear communication are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s in management a plus). • Registered Engineer or Architect preferred; PMP or Parsons Certified Project Manager a plus. • Broad experience in design, project management, and Federal Government contracting. • Strong orientation for process improvement, risk management, cost estimating, and scheduling. • Proven ability to influence outcomes without direct authority. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • High integrity, strong work ethic, and confident leadership.
