BMS Service Technician

Job Highlights
About the Role
The technician will install, maintain, and repair BMS equipment, perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, program and configure systems, and collaborate with engineering and project teams to integrate BMS into automation projects. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support and training to customers, conducting inspections and performance assessments, documenting service activities, adhering to safety regulations, delivering service within budget and time constraints, and participating in on‑call duties. • Install, maintain, and repair BMS controllers, sensors, actuators, and networking devices. • Perform system diagnostics, troubleshoot, and resolve BMS technical issues. • Program and configure BMS to meet project requirements and optimise building performance. • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to integrate BMS into automation projects. • Provide technical support and training to customers on BMS operation and maintenance. • Conduct inspections, performance assessments, and ensure compliance and efficiency. • Document service activities, maintenance reports, work orders, and equipment records. • Follow safety regulations and protocols during installations and maintenance. • Deliver services within budget and time constraints; participate in on‑call duties with allowance and overtime.

What You Bring
Candidates should have strong technical skills in building automation, HVAC controls, or electrical/mechanical systems, experience with fault‑finding and networking hardware, the ability to work independently and in a team, excellent communication, a customer‑focused mindset, and a commitment to safety and quality. Physical requirements involve lifting equipment, working at heights or in confined spaces, and maintaining positions such as standing, stooping, or kneeling for extended periods.
