About the Role
Based in Auckland, the Facilities Manager will oversee facilities maintenance services across diverse property types throughout the Pacific, with frequent travel to MFAT locations, and will work closely with Downer teams and Service Delivery Partners to ensure safe, efficient, high‑standard outcomes and strong stakeholder relationships. The role will also involve after‑hours on‑call support, business development, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Foster a Zero Harm culture and ensure security compliance. • Engage positively with customers and manage subcontractor relationships for collaborative outcomes. • Oversee facilities maintenance delivery, meeting KPIs, resource utilisation and financial targets. • Lead governance and service delivery across varied work types, technologies and customers. • Develop local trade capabilities in the Pacific to support social outcomes and improve efficiency. • Provide after‑hours on‑call support, champion business development and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring
The position requires a National Security Clearance and Ministry of Justice Clearance, and the successful candidate must be able to travel for one to two weeks at a time, multiple times a year. You will be expected to foster a Zero Harm culture, manage subcontractor relationships and develop local trade capabilities to support social outcomes.
