About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Maintenance, the successful candidate will be responsible for keeping the resort’s facilities and common areas in pristine condition, handling maintenance requests promptly, and maintaining precise activity records. • Maintain all facilities and common areas to the highest standards. • Complete maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently. • Keep accurate records and perform related administration. • Enhance appearance of units and areas through decorating and improvement projects. • Conduct pre‑arrival checks on units to identify defects. • Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests. • Take ownership of customer problems and provide effective solutions.

What You Bring

The position requires a five‑day workweek that includes weekends and Bank Holidays, and because of the resort’s rural location, the employee must have their own transport. • Proficient in at least one trade with solid maintenance experience. • Demonstrate strong verbal communication and listening skills. • Hold a Level 1 health and safety certification. • Proven experience in a similar maintenance role. • General maintenance competence and ability to multitask under pressure. • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
