About the Role
The Quality and Records Manager partners with the Area Manager and leadership to advance HDR’s quality culture across Operations, Professional Services, and Marketing, serving as the local representative for the Quality Office and supporting QMS implementation. In this role you will guide project managers on project‑plan development, collaborate with business group leaders on continuous‑improvement initiatives, balance staffing, lead QA/QC program activities, monitor quality reviews, and coordinate with local project quality managers. You will also report on QMS implementation, communicate updates and directives, develop local processes, and maintain an onboarding program that introduces new employees to HDR’s quality system. • Partner with Area leadership to promote HDR’s quality culture across Operations, Professional Services, and Marketing. • Act as the local representative for the Quality Office and support QMS implementation. • Advise Project Managers on developing PMP, QMP, and RMP plans and adopting best practices. • Collaborate with Business Group Managers to drive continuous improvement, technical standards, and lessons learned. • Ensure balanced staffing and qualified composition of project teams. • Lead QA/QC program activities and monitor project QC reviews with experienced reviewers. • Participate in project reviews and manage quality processes for project teams. • Coordinate with local project quality managers to address support needs and share key experiences. • Report QMS implementation status, lessons learned, and audit resolutions to the Quality Office. • Communicate QMS, ILG updates, and directives to area leadership and staff. • Develop and refine local processes supporting QMS and ILG requirements across functions. • Create and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program on HDR’s QMS. • Respond to staff inquiries regarding policies and procedures of the QMS. • Identify training opportunities by monitoring loss trends related to quality issues.

What You Bring
Preferred qualifications include a strong commitment to enhancing the quality culture, effective leadership and relationship‑management skills, the ability to resolve conflicts while maintaining business agility, high collaboration and self‑awareness, and alignment with HDR’s brand values and ethical standards. Required qualifications are a professional degree (or equivalent experience), at least six years of industry experience with three years in quality, a relevant quality certification (or ability to obtain one), solid QMS knowledge, excellent communication and investigative interview skills, and proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF. • Demonstrated commitment to enhancing quality culture and strong cross‑functional leadership. • Skilled at conflict resolution, balancing risk mitigation with business flexibility. • High collaboration, self‑awareness, and alignment with HDR brand values and ethical standards. • Professional degree or equivalent experience; minimum 6 years industry experience, including 3 years in quality. • Relevant quality certification or ability to obtain one. • Strong understanding of QMS fundamentals. • Excellent staff communication, engagement, and investigative interview skills. • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF.
