About the Role
The AI Platform Delivery Department Manager leads the enterprise strategy, governance, and operational excellence of Con Edison’s core AI and data platforms that support grid operations, asset management, forecasting, and customer analytics. The role oversees end‑to‑end performance, security, and reliability of key technologies such as Google BigQuery, Databricks, and C3.ai, ensuring trusted, compliant, and scalable services across the company. Acting as the strategic owner, the manager aligns platform operations with Con Edison’s long‑term grid modernization and digital transformation goals. In addition to technical leadership, the manager is responsible for financial management, vendor engagement, and cross‑functional collaboration with cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and infrastructure teams. The manager ensures utility‑grade standards for availability, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance while enabling innovation through AI‑driven insights, and reports value realization and risk posture to senior executives. • Lead enterprise strategy, governance, and operational excellence for AI and data platforms supporting grid operations, asset management, forecasting, and customer analytics. • Oversee performance, security, and reliability of platforms using technologies such as Google BigQuery, Databricks, and C3.ai. • Align platform operations with Con Edison’s long‑term grid modernization and digital transformation objectives. • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and vendor relationships for platform services. • Collaborate with cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and infrastructure teams to ensure utility‑grade availability and regulatory compliance. • Enable AI‑driven innovation while maintaining trusted, compliant, and scalable services. • Report platform value realization, risk posture, and strategic outcomes to senior executives.
